Mec Paestum Hotel

The MEC Paestum is a culinary gem with breakfast with a fantastic array of eggs, meats, fruits, and pastries. The atmosphere is lively, especially at night when the pool area glows. Plus, the location can't be beat-just a stone's throw from the archaeological park!

In general terms, I don't think it is a 5-star hotel. You need a shuttle to the beach, and there's barely any shade there. The limited dining options and loud wedding celebrations detracted from the experience, but the charm remains.

Location adjacent to far enough away from the hustle as well as various sites like Pompeii Vesuvius Salerno /ferry to amalfi and very easy and cheap to use.

Great way to end our holiday. The staff - efficient and highly courteous. Location so close to the hilly, photogenic coast from Sorrento, mid-afternoon sightseeing and the nearby Ruins. Also, close to sites of Paestum.

Great beach access and helpful staff, but poor Wi-Fi made it frustrating to connect.

The mec had a lovely atmosphere and the inclusive breakfast was a fantastic way to start each day. The private beach with beds was perfect, and we loved the nice pool area. The staff were kind and attentive.

Consider improving sound insulation!!! Address noise disturbances from weddings!!! Better maintenance of pool areas needed!!! Reinforce communication skills among staff!!! Ensure clearer descriptions of private beach charges!!!

Staying at the mec was a pleasant surprise during our budget trip. I loved the comfortable elegance double or twin room with a balcony. The atmosphere was charming and the included breakfast exceeded my expectations!

A charming escape in Paestum 🌊🕌

The brekkie spread was proper lekker, with fresh pastries and all sorts of eggs every morning. The pool area at night? Quite a sight, all lit up! Staff were proper friendly, helped us out a lot!

The hotel has a modern design with spacious rooms, ideal for relaxation, along with efficient staff. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a variety of options, but lunch and dinner choices could be improved. The beach area offers potential, yet charges for loungers can be a bit annoying.

Charming Family Retreat with Fine Breakfast

Our family stayed for 4 nights. The elegance room provided a cute escape, complemented by a superb breakfast spread including fresh pastries and various egg dishes. Staff responsiveness was amazing. Note, for better views and morning shade, opt for a sea view room next time.

The hotel was serene, with a lovely private beach only a short walk away. The evening meal options were limited, which could be an issue for longer stays. Sun loungers by the pool could be more comfortable, as they lacked adequate shading, detracting from the overall relaxation experience.

Great outdoor dining area. Morning coffee was missed due to no kettle in room.
